The Learning Tree Yeppoon is an Approved Kindergarten Provider. Our environment is a beautiful blend of nature and created spaces, designed to promote play, curiosity, imagination and confidence. Our backyard backs onto Fig Tree Creek which means we are lucky to be surrounded by wonderful trees, natural gardens and wildlife. The Kookaburra's are especially friendly and often pop down to say hello!

 

We are proud to have qualified Early Childhood Teacher's who are passionate about developing strong relationships with all children and delivering high quality and inclusive programs, encouraging positive development and learning outcomes for all.

Kindergarten is such an exciting time for children! Your little ones are offered meaningful experiences where they will make friends, build confidence and have fun learning. Our Kindy Program prepares children for the exciting transition from kindy to school cognitively, socially and emotionally. The Learning Tree adopts an Inquiry Based Learning approach, encouraging children to investigate, problem solve, ask questions and learn through play. Structured play and routines have been carefully thought out and designed to foster familiarity and promote positive wellbeing.

From 1 January 2024, kindy is free for eligible-aged children who attend a government-approved program. Kindy is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
