Our Story

We love camping! For us, there is nothing better than getting out into nature for a few days and watching the kids explore creeks, spot birds, swim in water holes, tell stories around the camp fire, get dirt in their hair and fresh air into their lungs. The Learning Tree is inspired by these special places and experiences where children are encouraged to use their environment to explore, discover and grow.
The Learning Tree Yeppoon is a family owned and operated business with over 30 years experience in building and running boutique Childcare Centres across Australia, including Mossman, Rockhampton and Regional Victoria. Growing up in Rockhampton, we quickly became aware of the dire need for Child Care in the Capricorn Coast region. As parents to a couple of very adventurous boys, we understand the importance of empowering children to explore their interests, embrace their personalities and grow through play in a warm, safe and inclusive environment.
